Bryony is a glass artist based in Penryn who works from a shared studio in a boatyard. Her practice is shaped by an experimental approach to making, developed through the resources and space available to her.
Working with kiln‑formed glass, she creates contemporary pieces inspired by the geology of West Penwith—its rocks, stone circles, and monoliths. By layering, melting, and reworking the glass, Bryony captures the texture, weight, and presence of stone in both wall‑mounted and sculptural forms.
Bryony's process is driven by curiosity and material exploration, and she is increasingly focused on expanding her work into more dimensional, sculptural contemporary‑craft pieces.
